Twilight 3D

The Story

Twilight 3D was founded in 1997 in Helsinki to explore the intersection of real‑time rendering and the rapidly‑evolving GPU technology landscape. Over eight years we shipped two 3D engines, game development tool‑chains, several technology demos, more than a dozen games, and interactive installations that ran everywhere from desktop PCs to web browsers. Around 2005 the company wound down commercial operations, but we keep the lights on here for old friends, collaborators and wandering search engines.

Today, the two former founders continue their mission to push spatial technology forward at Distance Technologies, a new venture focused on immersive augmented reality hardware.
